[Review] My personal Kpop Female Cuties

I like Kpop a lot. But I'm not a huge fan of girl groups, I like their clothes, I like their music, I like their dance moves, but I´m not into them as much as Male groups.

I made my point in the previous statement, but I find the next girls quite appealing; they have something I find attractive. You may agree or disagree with me, not everything I say is absolute, I might even change my mind about them, later. (In this post I express my opinion about them, you may comment on that, but please don´t be rude)

So let´s start! 

Hani from EXID

I remember when EXID debuted, with their MV called "Whoz that girl", a crazy video about a bunch of imaginary girls molesting a boy...He was cheating so of course, he had to deal with the EXID girls, ha!

 I also remember netizens thought Hani was ugly, back then, when I first watched the video I thought to myself "wow, she is so pretty, she has such a nice smile! And great hair!" And now, she made a bit hit with their song "up and down" for being sexy. From what I heard, netizens apologized to her for calling her ugly and hideous and a bunch of other mean things. Why!? I can´t even say how raged I felt when I heard people said those horrible things about her. She was all natural, she was pretty all along and people misjudged her and because a fan recorded her in a concert, the mean comments were "fixed", apologizing for bullying is not fixing it, the damage was done. I think she is pretty, sweet and sexy and deserves more attention. 

Gyuri from KARA

I find her really beautiful and sexy at the same time, her nose is the type of nose I like in a person, very pointy and straight, her sharp smile also makes her look great, both of those traits are a perfect combo, to attract people and I'm amazed by her. She has a high beauty standard of herself, she knows very well she is gorgeous and I think she behaves calm and serious and don´t brag about herself almost all the time, she´s not like some other girls who think they are pretty and are arrogant and self-centered. I might be wrong.

Nana From Orange Caramel (After School)

I first discovered Orange Caramel from a DDR machine, their video "Magic Girl" was very popular and everybody was dancing it. At first I thought they were cute and adorable, later on I got addicted, I listened to their song a million times, I also viewed the video a lot, too.

I got quite fond of Nana, I had the impression she was cute and bubbly and she is, she has that appearance, but watching an MBLAQ show I discovered she was kind of rude and serious and not what I expected. She did look cute and innocent, but wow she has a dark side too, I would never have guessed that about her. I´m not bashing her nor saying anything that might upset any Candies out there, but in their videos she looked like the brightest and funniest one, I guess you can´t really believe how they are in a MV, right? She has a pretty face, a nice smile and I still like her, even with the spicy personality she has.

 Jiyoon from 4Minute

I believe she is extremely cute even when she gives off a boyish kinda look, I can identify myself with her. The not so feminine girl who wants and tries to be feminine, laughs a lot and cheer people up, she is also caring and sweet! How can people ignore the fact that she is amazing in every possible sense. She has a wonderful voice, dazzling face and body, a wonderful personality. well, she can´t cook but who cares! You eat out or something! I think she deserves a little more attention than Hyuna, just for once. 

Park Bom from 2NE1

Bom is like a doll to me, I can´t affirm she had plastic surgery done to her face or any health related problem, but I find it funny she can´t smile right and when she sings in any of their MVs, she can´t open her mouth much, she just looks like a doll, a very pretty doll. I´m not saying that´s bad or anything, I'm find her "awww" and so tender, I can´t describe her with words. She is the kind of person I would love to hug and say "Its okay, you´re okay!" I don´t know, maybe I'm crazy, but that´s what I think every time I watch anything related to 2NE1.  

Bomi from Apink

Oh! She is such a dork, and I love her!

I always liked how adorable and tender Apink´s videos were, I didn´t think the girls were dorky, not one bit. Not until I watched a couple videos from Weekly Idol, the one who wins the dorky bubbly crown is Bomi. I laughed so much with that WI episode, her giraffe impersonation was hilarious and not only that, she made everyone laugh like crazy and she didn´t even care for her idol image. She has a wonderful personality, she always laughs, she is clumsy, very dorky and likes to tell jokes. I personally think she is a great person to befriended.

[Culture] ❤ China ❤ Dragon Dance

You might have heard or seen this dance in a very well known movie. But for those people who aren´t familiar with Chinese traditions...you know what this dance means? Maybe?

Well, the Dragon Dance is made to celebrate certain festivals, most commonly used to represent the  start of a great year, initializing the first day of January and ending fifteen days later, until the Lantern Festival. The purpose of this cultural dance is to scare away evil spirits and to bring a prosperous and happy new year, since Chinese dragons are a symbol of good luck, long life, wisdom, wealth, power and are also associated with life-giving rain.  

 This Dragon can be made of paper, plastic, fabric or even metal with a base made of wood and can measure up to 100 meters, the longer the Dragon, the highest the chance to bring great luck to the people. 

In the Dragon Dance festival a group of performers or dancers carry the Dragon up in poles. They lift, shake, swift, sweep and dip the head of the Dragon and its body, making it "dance" to the sound of drums, horns and gongs. The Dragon may also feature animated gestures and pyrotechnic attractions such as smoke or fireworks. 

The Dragon´s color can vary and a combination of colors are always used, since each color represent a wish for the New Year. 

In paintings, sculptures, drawings, poems and particularly in this Dance, the Dragon is seen pursuing a round edge-less pearl called "Pearl of Wisdom", the meaning behind this, is the Dragon´s own search for insight and knowledge; this pearl can be painted yellow or red to symbolize the Sun, the spring rains and great harvest for the celebrated future year.
